Simon Ghanimian grew up knowing that if you could create something tangible, you would never go hungry. When he first came to America, he had $200 in his pocket, and he wanted to go to college to become an engineer. But first, he had to work and save money. He went to work for a relative on 47th Street in New York - the Diamond District - and there he fell in love with the world of designing and making jewelry with the worlds most luxurious materials. He discovered he had a talent for design, and he honed that talent until he was able to make a living designing and making jewelry. In the beginning, Simon G was only Simon and his wife Silvia. Today, the brand is known around the world for its flowing geometries, and its ability to be both heirloom-worthy and stylish today.
